Unity Church: About Us

WHO WE ARE

Unity Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Unity Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
We believe Christians have the highest purpose in life – to glorify Jesus Christ, by loving God and loving others. We focus on helping people in our community, both with physical and spiritual needs. We are looking for people to come join us to make a difference in Smithfield, Johnston County, and the world. WE NEED YOU!

Where We Come From

We are a Free Will Baptist Church, a member of the National Association of Free Will Baptists. Our beliefs are found in “A Treatise of the Faith and Practices of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Inc.” To read a copy, click HERE.

We believe the Bible to be inerrant and sufficient for our every need. We preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that salvation is “by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone”.

What Are Our Goals?

We have 3 simple goals: See people put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to see them baptized, and to help them learn what the Bible says about how we should live. We want to help you on that same journey as well, that’s why we are here.
